Sorey has witnessed lots of death and destruction and didn't go crazy from it. Why does Mikleo growing, learning, and changing have to mean that he won't get along with Sorey? Isn't it just as possible that he could get along with Sorey even better? Or get along the same?Īlso, what does it mean to be "mentally 17?" Does that negate the positive social traits Sorey has (being friendly and always willing to listen) in such a way he can't get along with someone who is potentially much older and wiser? Also, I'd argue that Sorey mentally is much tougher than your average person who's 17. The issue here is you're forcing a very narrow view on something you don't even know for sure. How are they supposed to even get along anymore? I can't even fathom how much Mikleo will have changed in that immense amount of time, not to mention all the knowledge and wisdom he must have gained, then you have Sorey who is still just a little baby compared to that and idk it really bothers me. Meanwhile Mikleo has been wandering around for centuries, growing and learning and changing. How are they supposed to even get along anymore? Sorey and Mikleo grew up together and they were supposed to be super close and Mikleo lost him for years and then he'll be a different person and Sorey's still mentally 17! I wish they had made it so Shepherds get unusually long lives or something then they could just chill together, but nooo they were separated and now Sorey's just going to get old and die pretty quick compared to Mikleo anyway, even after all that :< This ending makes me sad. He wasn't dreaming or doing anything really, so he's going to be exactly the same as he was when he went under, meanwhile Mikleo has been wandering around for centuries, growing and learning and changing. I spent many hours playing this game so of course I was pretty invested in the story.) I'm upset by the fact that Sorey goes into a dreamless, senseless sleep for hundreds of years, and then finally wakes up and finds Mikleo.
